The largest waterfalls in the Maritimes, the mighty 103' North River Falls is a truly breathtaking sight. The hike is challenging and is 18 km’s (5-7 hours) in total distance. You should bring along bottled water, snacks, proper footwear, a swim suit and bug spray just in case. In June through mid-July, a large number of Canadian Tiger Swallowtail butterflies migrate and take limited residence here and along the river. Time it with the leaves changing the fall for an extra mind-numbing experience. There is no cell service whatsoever.
